Pastor Bruce E. Petty is truly a man that is seeking after God’s own heart. He has been chosen and qualified by God to be the Shepard of Trinity United Methodist Church in Sanford, NC. Pastor Petty is a profound Preacher of the good news, he delivers the unadultered spoken word on on Sunday and his faithfulness and obedience is shown on everday. Pastor Petty pours his heart out to the service of not only his members but to all members in the entire community. This Shepard leads our annual food drive held at Thanksgiving each year; where God allows us to bless families in our community that are less forunate with free bags of food during the holiday season. Pastor Petty also participates in Trinity’s annual coat drive; again where God allows us to bless others the community with free coats and blankets to stay warm in the winter. Pastor continues to reach out to more in the community through the airwaves. This Disciple of Chris is also a radio personality on the local radio station WXKL 1290A.M. He ministers to the community by both word and song. He delivers a spoken message once a week and uplifts the spirit by music three times a week, in addition he is in constantly supporting the prayer line. Encouraging and reassuring God’s people in the time of their struggle. Pastor Petty uses any door that is opened and takes advantage of every opportunity to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. He’s constantly on the move for the Lord. He is faithful to God, his members, and his community and he labors hard in the vineyard for the Lord. The works that he does speaks for Him. Pastor Petty examplifies the life of a true Christian and displays pure love. His actions in the community will always prove him to be a wonderful representative of Christ as he strives everyday to continue to make God proud!
